 Woodham Swimming Club was formed in February 2005 as a non-profit making organisation run mainly by volunteers. The Club is based at the South Woodham Ferrers Leisure Centre Swimming Pool (not far from Maldon Blackwater Swimming Pool), which was officially opened by Olympic gold medallist Duncan Goodhew MBE on Saturday 19 March 2005.

  • The Rotary Club of South Woodham Ferrers is holding its Second Swimarathon from 24th March until 26th March 2006 ....their primary aim will be to raise money for deserving projects for the caring community of South Woodham Ferrers. This year they are supporting :- Little Haven Children's Hospice, Helen Rollason Centre and Essex Air Ambulance. 

  • Nation's BIG Swimathon 2006, you can sign up for Swimathon’s 20th anniversary swim today, taking place between 23-26 March 2006 (so plenty of time for gentle training)!
