SWF Swimarathon 2006 (The Rotary Club of South Woodham Ferrers)

Woodham Swimming Club was formed in February 2005 as a non-profit making organisation run mainly by volunteers. The Club is based at the South Woodham Ferrers Leisure Centre Swimming Pool (not far from Maldon Blackwater Swimming Pool), which was officially opened by Olympic gold medallist Duncan Goodhew MBE on Saturday 19 March 2005.

Try swimming to help improve your health and fitness in a fun and enjoyable way.

Anyone who is interested in any of the activities undertaken by Woodham Swimming Club and wish to find out more are welcome to either come to our Monday evening Club session, complete our online enquiry form or just send us an email direct to Club enquiries.

The Rotary Club of South Woodham Ferrers is holding its SecondSwimarathon from 24th March until 26th March 2006 ....their primary aim will be to raise money for deserving projects for the caring community of South Woodham Ferrers. This year they are supporting :- Little Haven Children's Hospice, Helen Rollason Centre and Essex Air Ambulance.
Nation's BIG Swimathon 2006, you can sign up for Swimathon’s 20^th anniversary swim today, taking place between 23-26 March 2006 (so plenty of time for gentle training)!
